Brazil is not the place I visited five years ago. When the real was worth 30 cents a dollar went forever in this country. Now (summer 2008) the real is worth around 60 cents and prices are creeping up to what I would pay in the U.S. Speaking of the real, it’s not really a real (neither reel or ray-al), it’s a heai (pronounced hay-ai). Makes sense.
