Business Proposals
Experience has included writing and editing support and leadership for upwards of 100 commercial responses to U.S. Government solicitations. These have included proposals and task orders that netted roughly $1 billion in sales growth for a federal government services arm of Fortune 1000 IT services company. Recent support has included the following:
- Served as lead writer on the $160 million U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Cyber Technologies Services Management Program (CTSMP) proposal, and technical volume lead in post-Red Team revisions and preparations for final submission.
- Served in a dual capacity as technical volume lead and writer for management and technical volumes in response to the $600 million Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms’ Enterprise Systems Architecture (ESA) IV solicitation.
- Worked with Special Operations Command (SOCOM) subject matter experts in the development of both technical and management requirements for multiple task order responses generated from the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contracts (SITEC) initiative.
- Served as lead for technical and staff management volumes for the $60 million Army CONUS Enterprise Service Desk (ESD). Led development of enterprise-wide call center order solution and managed content preparation for management and staffing approach.
- For the Federal Cloud Computing Infrastructure As A Service (IAAS) initiative, led development of systems integration solution and managed content preparation for corporate capabilities volume.
- Served as volume lead for Corporate Capabilities and Past Performance sections for the $8.2 billion Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) IDIQ. The two sections constituted roughly half of the proposal evaluation. Also supported development of proposal subcontracting plan.
- Successfully delivered relevancy and past performance volumes for CREW 3.1 solicitation seeking production services for IED jamming devices. Completed development of both volumes over a two-week period.
- Supported technical and relevancy volumes in five-day effort that delivered winning proposal in response to an IT services solicitation from the Defense Travel Management Office
- Served as technical volume lead for proposal targeting critical FAA ground surveillance initiative. Managed U.S.- and Europe-based radar and program specialists to formulate proposal strategy, develop win themes, and effectively respond to complex SIR requirements.
- Led technical volume for $600 million logistics proposal. Coordinated with team of subject matter experts and business development executives to develop and deliver high-value, low-cost proposal solution.
- Served as lead technical editor for response to the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) solicitation. Coordinated activities of engineers in fields ranging from satellite communications to engine design in the development of compelling technical solution. Was member of core team tasked with responding to customer follow-up questions and preparing Final Proposal Revisions.
- Provided technical writing for response to AFSPC’s Uni-Comm IT/communications consolidation initiative. Work included developing past performance volumes and core technical solutions in support of Federal defense programs.
